The photography of Eve Stuart on display in Hudson, NY

Several works from Eve Stuart, a New York based photographer, will be on display until November 10th at foley&cox HOME in Hudson, NY. From September 27th through October 7th, six photographs exhibited were included in Arts Walk Hudson. Stuart has worked with Laumont over the years to transform her images into prints. She began working with the c-print department but now finds pigment printing better suited to her imagery. She has worked extensively with Laumont’s scanning and framing departments as well.

When taking pictures, lines of poetry often dance through my head. I’m always reminded of William Blake’s poem, “to see the world in a grain of sand….heaven in a wild flower, hold infinity in the palm of your hand, and eternity in an hour.”
An excerpt from the artist’s statement

A number of Eve Stuart’s photographs will travel to the Bedford Antiques Show this weekend, then return to foley&cox HOME on Monday until November 10, 2012.
