In collaboration with Laumont’s Scanning, Retouching, and Pigment Printing departments, painter Tom Goldenberg (left) and poet Tony Towle (right), produced 2 portfolios of prints featuring watercolor paintings and accompanying poetic text displayed in an archival portfolio box.
Each of Goldenberg’s original watercolor paintings were scanned using our Fine Art Cruse Scanner, placing the artwork face up so that nothing ever touches the surface. Text was provided by Towle that our Retouching department added to the RAW scan file with direction from both Tony and Tom. Esteban, one of Laumont’s master printers, worked closely with both men to compose two finished portfolios containing twelve images with a table of contents, colophon and a printed portfolio cover all on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag cotton paper.
