The Highlights Wall at Mana Contemporary, dedicated to showcase the work of an artist within the Mana Contemporary community, features photographer Renate Aller’s landscape photography from “The Space Between Memory and Expectation” printed and custom framed at Laumont.
The large scale archival pigment prints were fitted into custom white satin maple frames to compliment the imagery as well as allow the viewer to seamlessly move from one landscape to the next showing “the interconnectedness of distant environments”.
The photos below feature a unique combination of UV printing direct to white ash wood veneer using our SwissQ Impala UV printer that has been back mounted to provide rigidity for fitting into a custom natural wood frame. The wood grain of the veneer becomes the sky and the highlights, nodding to the Juniper Tree subject creating a perfect marriage of image and material.
Mana Contemporary’s Highlights Wall is located on the 4th floor at their Jersey City location, on view until March 2026.
