Waves in Black and White

"Waves In Black and White", 2011 is a series of seascapes photographed at the shore of the Atlantic Ocean in Rockaway Beach, Queens, New York.

Mounting and framing specialists at Laumont Photographics, NYC, are more than pleased to assist as Brooklyn born Sandra Gottlieb  prepares  for exhibition. Nine photographs from the series “Waves in Black and White” will be on view at Kathleen Cullen Fine Arts from June 14 – July 13. The opening reception will be held on June 21st from 6-8PM.

Inspiring excellent reviews, Gottlieb’s work visually captures observations of the vagarious Atlantic waters off the coast of Rockaway Beach, Queens, NY which evidence her 16 years of rumination regarding the sea as a photographic subject.

Another selection of Sandra Gottlieb’s work, which includes her beautiful color photography, is showing in an overlapping but independent exhibition called “Images of the Sea”, which just opened on June 1st at Bego Ezair Gallery, NYC; this exhibition will run until June 30th.
